As Director of Admissions and Continuing Care, Tyler is responsible for overseeing the pre-admission process and making sure that each client enters treatment safely. Upon admission he meets every new client at Paragon and takes a personal interest in seeing them succeed, and ensuring they reach their destination. He can often be seen encouraging clients when they are struggling and advocating for them when they need a champion. Tyler has been part of the recovery community for several years and was introduced to the substance abuse field through his own experiences with addiction. Tyler started as a behavioral health tech and since then has held many positions, from group facilitator to admission coordinator, and most recently client care manager.
Out of the office, Tyler can be found spending time with his wife and family. You can also always find him on the lacrosse field. An All-Conference and All-American goalie during his years at Brigham Young University, Tyler continues to play for his local men’s team the “Buzzards” and gives back by coaching goalies of all ages (and is lovingly referred to as “Coach T”). As a lacrosse goalie Tyler understands being the last line of defense, and when he is guarding the goal has an attitude of the ball stops here. His mission at Paragon is to help clients believe that addiction stops here!
